Terms and conditions of the Innovation Quest 2018

TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE INNOVATION QUEST 2018

By accepting the terms and conditions hereby stated by Associacio Empresa Joventut (“EJOVENTUT”), I:

 

MANIFEST

 

  1. That I (“PARTICIPANT”), Associacio Empresa Joventut(“EJOVENTUT”) and the corporate partner I am assigned to (“COMPANY”), conform the PARTS.

 

  1. That I will participate in the event organized by EJOVENTUT named Innovation Quest, organized in November 2018 in its 9th edition.

 

  1. That apart of all other activities organized in the frame of the event, I will participate in the resolution of a practical case proposed by my assigned COMPANY.

 

  1. That the company will provide me directly or through eJoventut some confidential information which I won’t disclose under any circumstances.

 

  1. That in the basis of what I have previously manifested, and trusting in the accuracy of the previous considerations, the parts agree on the present contract according to the following:

 

CLAUSES

 

  1. In the event that, as a result of compliance with legal obligations for any of the parties, information must be provided with respect to this agreement, the PARTS will agree on the content of the information that must be provided, in all cases complying with the provisions in the regulations that apply.

 

  1. The PARTICIPANT is obliged to observe strict confidentiality on all information that, on the occasion of this agreement, he/she receives about the business and affairs of the COMPANY. These include trade secrets, significant information on customers, action sectors, development plans, technical information, commercial information and cost information, among others. The PARTICIPANT commits not to use such information in any form or purpose outside the strict compliance within this agreement. This obligation extends to as many persons or companies hired by any of the parts in the execution of the benefits of the agreement, for which purpose the parts of the present agreement are obliged to inform them and demand the same obligation of confidentiality.

 

  1. Such confidentiality will continue to be required at the end of this agreement or any of its extensions, and will be maintained upon expiration for a period of two years, unless the information in question in each case has become public. The COMPANY may disclose confidential information to their employees, whenever necessary and that, in such cases, they are subject to the same confidentiality conditions as those established in this contract.

 

  1. At the end of this agreement or any of its extensions, the PARTICIPANT will return to the COMPANY and to EJOVENTUT all the original documents and their copies and material revealed or assigned for the execution of the agreed upon.

 

  1. The personal data (including the curriculum vitae “CV”) of the PARTICIPANT will be processed by EJOVENTUT and by the COMPANY in accordance to the regulations governing the protection of personal data. The PARTICIPANTS allows his/her data to be transferred to all the companies of the EVENT. The PARTICIPANT also allows the sharing of his/her personal data to third-party collaborators for the development, fulfillment and control of the legal relationship established between EJOVENTUT and the COMPANY and for the study and generation of new business and commercial relationships, as well as in the cases legally authorized or demanded or consented by those affected. All of them have the right to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, deletion, limitation of treatment, portability and opposition in the terms set out in the General Data Protection Regulation and in the Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data.

 

  1. The PARTICIPANT agrees not to disclose any sort of information provided by the COMPANY or EJOVENTUT to any natural or legal person without the prior written consent of the Disclosing Party. The PARTICPANT agrees not to use any of the information provided to register property rights in its own name; and to respect and not challenge the property rights of the Disclosing Party in relation to the Information.
